Are we really in a recession? Although the rest of the country my be experiencing a down turn, Dallas is bigger and stronger than ever. Since January, the unemployment rate in the DFW area has decreased by half a percent. We have one of the best job markets in the Nation. With under-valued real estate and no state income tax makes Dallas a great place to work and live. Plus, we have some of the best school in the nation.

One of the booming areas is West Plano and Frisco. With great shopping, yummy restaurants, and lots of outside activities, this area has much to offer singles, a growing family, or active adults. Plano is the headquarters for many large companies including EDS, Pepsi, and JC Penny. This companies are bringing employees to this area increasing the demand for homes and improvements.

Overall, the large amount of corporations and job opportunities keeps Dallas and the surrounding areas growing strong. Despite the slight slow down nationally, the DFW economy is growing stronger. Home prices are up, unemployment is down, and the shopping is great.
